Marketing Madness with Brandy Mychals
So… you’ve selected your ideal client and you’re afraid you’ve over-marketed yourself.
Well I can tell you: you’re wrong.
You can never market enough; in fact I’ve never seen anyone over-market themselves (and I’m not counting “salesy” marketing because that’s just yucky!)
You can never market enough– when you focus on Educational-Based Marketing.
That’s an old term and you’ve probably heard it before: it means offering value and content. Be like a library– be a source of information — the “hub” for your industry.
Understanding what it takes to build up to something (a new product launch or an event, for example) will require you to do some Marketing Madness of your own.
If you want more marketing advice, watch Marketing Categories.
And remember: Have fun with your Marketing Madness!
Brandy Mychals is the creator of the Character Code™ System for Client Attraction without being “salesy.” She is the 2011 International FEMTOR Award Winner presented by eWomenNetwork and was also selected by a Fortune 500 company as one of the top ten bloggers in the U.S. Brandy is the author of the soon to be published book Savvy Speaker Secrets and is in discussion for a reality TV show based on her Character Code™ system. Brandy’s specialty is teaching entrepreneurs how to make the journey from obscurity to buzz in record time so your ideal clients can track you down.

You are so funny Brandy! … would we tell the library we don’t want to go anymore because there’s too much information?
I’m always cautious to over-market to my community but when you put it in the light of providing valuable information (key word on valuable) then it shifts the focus from overwhelming them to supporting them.

Yes, information is key. If you do it via providing information it does not appear as marketing. Right?
I hate the big salesy stuff. It is a big turn off for me.
I do love learning valuable information that can help me…. I like educational based marketing because I am learning about something I need.
You are inspiring me to share what I know! I can do this for my people…. give them valuable information they need and want!
Thanks
With marketing madness, what may be an attraction to one may not be to another, but then the following week, it may be vice versa. Just keep getting it out there!

Brandy,
I recently had a marketing expert point out to me that I am INCREDIBLY successful even though I am not marketing my business….. OH MY! Now is the time for me to get serious and really get the word out about what i do, then watch out! Thanks for the great pointers.
With love,
