Behind the Scenes Secrets… 4 Days and Counting with Brandy Mychals
Let’s talk about Networking…and how to make the most of a weekend workshop !
It’s just four days until my “Cracking the Confidence Code” workshop and since this is my biggest audience to date (there’s over 220 guests that have saved their seats), I thought I’d list a few networking tips for attending larger workshops like this. As an entrepreneur wanting to attract more clients and create business connections, there’s no doubt that attending large events like this is a great move!
And, how can you use a weekend workshop to your advantage? Well– here’s some tips:
1. Come with an open mind. I call this being “coachable.” Many of my audience members are coaches or workshop leaders themselves, and sometimes that can make you skeptical or resistant to new ideas… and new contacts. Even though you may be an expert, allow yourself to become teachable again. Open yourself to new ideas and experiences… step outside that comfort zone. Who knows? Maybe your ideal client is the person who is sitting right next to you…
2. Dress up.This is an opportunity to show up as a “shinier” version of yourself. This doesn’t mean you have to wear a “suit” if that’s not what you are comfortable in. But it’s important for you to make a positive first impression on the first day… to be the success FIRST.
3. Bring business cards, flyers and any other print marketing materials you have for our networking table. Workshops are a great venue to meet other entrepreneurs and possible clients so you don’t want to show up empty handed! Check out my blog on marketing madness– you can never do too much marketing… and an event is the perfect place to establish business contacts.
4. Expect the best: who knows? You might also meet your next BEST joint venture at a weekend networking event. Check out some of my tips on working with other entrepreneurs… and how NOT to show up.
I can’t wait to see you in just four days! Yay!
Love your friend,
Brandy

Oh how I wish I could be there! It worked perfectly that I’m not though as my Mum is in hospital and I prefer to be more easily contactable. Break a leg though Brandy! You will be magnificent.
