Pillar #7: Problems – Solutions with Brandy Mychals
What… problems? Why on earth blog about THAT?
Well, at their most essential, basic form, businesses solve problems for their clients. As an entrepreneur, you meet a need your client has– and that is why they come to you.
Make sure the key problems you solve are the problems that people actually have! Many of my clients have come to me with great ideas and great clients…but they weren’t solving the right problem for their client (remember my blog on Pillar #3: People?)
You need to offer a service that is relevant to your client’s needs. I recommend making a list of the key problems you solve, and posting it nearby. Keep that list handy, and never create anything without remembering who your audience is and what problem they need solved.
That will keep you on track and keep your message cohesive and allow you to stay true to your brand… but most importantly, it will keep you solving that problem your client has.
Love your friend,
Brandy

I am so looking forward to working through this! My ideal client feels too shy and reserved and ‘out of place’, doesn’t fit in. I give them strategies to overcome or deal with those feelings when networking online and in person.

What a great way to think about business… instead of focusing on the “bottom line”, why not think about it as solving a specific problem for clients? This also makes great sense as a way of finding your ideal client. Of course you can’t solve the world’s problems… but you probably can tackle one or two.
