We had a great event last weekend at “Cracking the Confidence Code” and I loved seeing so many of you there!
Here are some behind-the-scenes tips and tricks for those that like to peek behind the curtain…
1. Keep it Fresh, Current and Relevant for your Audience. No matter what you do or how long you’ve been doing it…you need to be aware of what your clients are dealing with right NOW in their business.
2. Surround yourself with a Great Support Team. Being an entrepreneur isn’t a “solo” venture – don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. Having a coach, JV partners, assistants, family and friends to support you will be key to your success. Be a part of a wonderful community that allows you to shine!
3. Ride the Roller Coaster of Emotions. Yep…it won’t always be a picnic and you have an absolutely fabluous opportunity to deal with your “stuff”. Your issues around money, people, receiving, leading, speaking, sales, technology – you name it! Love the gift of being an entrepreneur!
As you work through your issues it provides experiences that you can share with your clients.
4. Hold the Space for your Clients. Everything you have been working through you now get to walk your clients through. Support them as they stretch, grow and expand. Let them know the vision you have for them and when you see their greatness, don’t hesitate to tell them!
5. Be aware, Observe & Notice What Works. As you create your business you are in “experiment” mode. Notice what works for you and what does not. Strive to create systems to repeat what you desire and to replace or improve what isn’t working. Awareness is a gift!
6. Don’t Give Up. The only way to really fail is to not even try…or to not give it your best effort and quit before you have really started. As your own “boss” you are in charge and you can’t be fired – so stay the course, get the training, support & inspiration you need to make your dream a reality!
7. Celebrate your Successes! Be your own Cheerleader and take the time to congratulate yourself for your efforts because you are doing this! It may be small steps at first (you signed up, you picked up the phone, you created a website…) and then it grows to huge successes (your 6 Figure business, your book deal, your new home) – they are all worthy of celebration. Most important, celebrating reminds you to stay focused on your strengths!

What a great weekend! I think my favorite part, by far, was the Character Code game show at the end. It was hilarious– and lovely– watching all those personalities shine on stage. Thanks Brandy and Vinca for a wonderful weekend.
